New Review: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
by Andy on Nov.18, 2009, under Console, Gaming, PC, Reviews
I’ve finished my review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It’s a pretty fun game, a lot like the first one. Check out my review if you can’t get yourself to buy this game. There is a lot of drama on the web about the game. Many people are sick of it’s hype.
Here is an excerpt:
The “modern warfare” feel is fresh. No futuristic sci-fi looking aliens, no historic battlefield to traipse, no puzzle solving skills required. These are good “features” in this light, because it makes the game feel more realistic and your game play plausible. The game offers 3 modes of play. Campaign, special-ops, and multiplayer. Campaign mode continues the story from Call of Duty 4. Campaign mode was originally supposed to include a co-op mode, but it was removed and only introduced in the special-ops mode because it “ruined the experience”. Special-ops mode offers independent missions to hone your skills by yourself or with a friend in co-op. Finally, the multiplayer mode has a bevy of different match styles that allow you to play with 2-18 people.

New Review: Borderlands
by zeonic on Nov.15, 2009, under Console, Development, Gaming, PC, Reviews
My review for Borderlands is up, take a look. Whether you just want to shoot some bitches in the face, or satisfy your loot cravings that would put an MMO to shame, this game has something for everyone. And while the gameplay is crazy, the graphics are crazy, and more than a couple of the characters are crazy, you can be certain you’re going to enjoy yourself.

Omg! It’s almost here! I’m getting wet just imagining the possibilities that we will share and the creations that we will freaking have. Woo! Can I just scream “CARL SAGAN” when ever I want? That’s how joyous of an occasion this is to me.
Forget the upcoming holiday woes and come blast me and my friends in the face with virtual projectiles (like bullets, plasma shells, rockets, swords, frisbeez, you name it). All you have to do is get yourself hyped for Saturday (November 14th) and then bring your computer over on Saturday…
There is going to be a keg so keep that in consideration when deciding what to bring. Entrance fee is $7 (7 United States Dollars). There will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Netflix Instant watch for friends that don’t bring computers. No violent attitudes, you will be forced out of the location left to wait for your things. Gaming starts at Noon, drinks later, show up any time. We may be playing some Heros of Newerth, so grab a key from a friend if you don’t have that yet. Don’t be pissed when we play network hearts. It’s a lan, when else would we have that opportunity?!

New Review: Risen
by zeonic on Nov.10, 2009, under Console, Gaming, PC, Reviews

After slacking off, I have finally posted my next review! The game is called Risen, and unless you’re a big fan of the Gothic series by Piranha Bytes, you’ve probably never heard of it. It’s a third person action adventure role playing type game set in a nice run of the mill medieval world. There will be enough British accents and skeleton filled dungeons to last you for days. But is it worth a shit? Have a look.

left 4 dead 2 demo review
by Andy on Nov.09, 2009, under Console, Gaming, PC, Reviews
Here is a left 4 dead 2 demo review.
Blood, guts, carnage, rampaging monsters, ghoulish entities, torn flesh, bitten arms, sliced faces, spewn intestines, stomped chest cavities, splattered brains, shrieking horrors, anal rip-idge, bubbling puss, broken bones, and maybe a bit of fresh urine. That’s one recipe for left 4 dead 2, from scratch.
